Technical Veerji (“we”, “us”, or “our”) runs live AI and tech classes. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or book a class, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Booking details — your name, email address, and phone number, which you provide when you reserve a seat in a class.
- Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment status but we do not store your full card or banking details.
- Class activity — the classes you book, your personal join links, and attendance, so we can deliver the class and send reminders.
- Usage data — basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, collected to keep the site secure and working well.
- Instagram interactions — when you comment on our Instagram posts or send a direct message to @technical_veerji, we receive your Instagram username and user ID, the text of that comment or message, and any email address you choose to share in the conversation (see “Instagram” below).
How we use your information
- To confirm your booking and give you access to your live class.
- To send you class confirmations, reminders, and important updates by email.
- To process payments and issue receipts.
- To improve our classes, content, and website.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Technical Veerji — for example our payment processor, email and messaging providers, and hosting platform — and only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
We use Meta’s official Instagram API to manage our own business account, @technical_veerji. When you comment on one of our posts with a keyword or message us, we may reply automatically in a direct message with the link or resource you asked for. We use the data described above only to reply to you, to send the resource you requested, to follow up once if you haven’t received it, and to count how many people opened our links. We never message people who have not commented on our posts or messaged us first, we never sell this data, and we don’t use it for advertising. Your use of Instagram is also covered by Instagram’s own privacy policy.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or booking is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing messages using the link in the email or by replying.
- Transactional messages (like booking confirmations and class reminders) are part of the service you signed up for.
How to delete your data
To have us delete everything we hold about you, including Instagram usernames, comments, messages, and emails collected through Instagram, do either of these:
- Email support@technicalveerji.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and your Instagram username or the email you used with us, or
- Send “DELETE MY DATA” as a direct message to @technical_veerji on Instagram.
We will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by replying. We keep only records we are legally required to hold, such as payment receipts.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure and remember your session. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Children
Our classes are intended for adults and older learners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
